Winter Wonderland

I can't remember the last time I went running in the snow...it must have been in WV, but I wasn't much in to running for fun in the middle of winter back then. :-) So, today may have been a first. Along with remembering to run on the left side of the path, I had to really concentrate on not slipping and falling in to the river Thames. At least the mud was frozen!

There were light flurries while running today, but yesterday during the "storm of the decade" I played it safe and went for a long walk with the camera instead. The BBC said that it's the "worst snow in 18 years" in the UK. The airports, buses, and trains in London were completely shut down, but we actually only got about 2 inches here in Oxford. The elementary kids are out of school still, and most (including Kent) are out throwing snowballs.
Here are a few snaps from yesterday....

The geese, swans and ducks all looked pretty chilly!
