Tuscany Trip

We decided we needed a short vacation before Kent started work - and little did we know that after the madness of moving - we would REALLY need a vacation! The weekend of Oct. 16, we found a great deal on a flight to Pisa, Italy and from there we could explore Tuscany. We stayed in the town of Cortona for 3 nights and 1 night in Pisa before we flew home. It was really relaxing....we enjoyed exploring the Tuscan countryside in our Fiat (with newly purchased Garmin) and sampled the amazing food (fresh pasta is the best, plus it was porcini mushroom and truffle season....mmmm) and the local wine. The people were so friendly and we just chilled out. We each read a whole book!
