Miller/Sumrall Wedding

So, I have really been slacking on the blog lately! Time to catch up on a few fun events from the past month. First post - our trip to TX. The last weekend of February, Kent and I travelled to Austin to be a part of our good friends Kathleen and Mark's wedding. Even though we were just there for Christmas, it was great to be back in Austin and catch up with so many friends. We were fortunate enough to have a quick visit on Wednesday night with Kent's parents (and Winston!) in Lago Vista before diving in to the wedding festivities.

Kathleen and Mark have such great people in their lives - we had so much fun with their families, the bridesmaids, groomsmen (and their significant others). Thursday we had a nice lunch at Blue Dahlia, and got to meet little 3-month old Sadie Culberson for the first time - she is adorable. I had to participate in the obligatory spa day with the bride, and then we met up with the wedding party and a few other friends for dinner. Friday, the bridal luncheon at Cafe Josie was yummy and the fun & food continued at Iron Cactus for the rehearsal dinner. It was just the perfect laid back evening with enough Tex-Mex and margaritas to make Kent feel right at home. :-)
The wedding the next day was spectacular - an outdoor ceremony at Mandola's Winery just outside of Austin followed by a reception with great Italian food and some serious dancing (with the same DJ as we had at our wedding!). What a tiring but SUPER FUN weekend! Kent traveled back to London on Sunday evening and I stayed on in TX to work. Then on to see my family in NC the next weekend - that is my next post. :-) Here are a few of the 100s of pics taken over the weekend....
