Easter Weekend & The Boat Race

As usual, I have a lot of blog catching up to do. Here's a quick recap of Easter weekend in London....it was a nice, long weekend with both Friday and Monday off work. We spent time time with friends, a few long walks in the parks, and of course went to church on Sunday!

Saturday was the Oxford-Cambridge boat race, so a few of last year's team were in town for the race (from NY and Hong Kong even!) so we got to catch up with some Oxford friends Friday night. I can't believe it has been a year already - I remember going to last year's race when the Millers were here visiting. We had a nice sunny day again, and it was much easier to get to the race on the banks of the Thames this year (we walked!) than coming all the way from Oxford. Unfortunately Oxford lost the race, so the celebrations were not as fun that night.
Sunday we went for a nice long run and enjoyed the weather and the blooming daffodils in Hdye Park. Had a nice Easter Brunch at home and went to a beautiful church service in the evening.

And finally, Kent discovered a pub that has a "Table Tap" table. Yes, you can pour your own beer at your table. There's a little LED that counts up how many you have had. :-)
